1 roll puff pastry
1 cup freshly chopped strawberries, fresh, quartered
1/4 cup strawberry jam
1/4 teaspoon coarse clack pepper
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 egg,beaten
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Mix the strawberries, jam, pepper and balsamic vinegar. Roll out the pastry and cut into equal size squares. On a greased baking tray, place the squares. Drop a large dollop of strawberry mixture in the centre of each pastry square. Fold the conrners to the centre and pinch closed. Brush with the egg and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
